R.I.P. N95
This morning, my phone died.
It ran away... then came back... but I think... I think, in it's absence it must've caught some horrific disease or something...
The screen has broken...
The phone is no more!
It has ceased to be!
It has expired and gone to meet his maker!
It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If I hadn't nailed it to my hand it'd be pushing up the daisies!
It's metabolic processes are now history!
It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket, its shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!!
THIS IS AN EX-PHONE!!

What is it with phones dying?! Mine kicked the bucket yesterday. :( oh well.
Do you think the after market black case had anything to do with it?
It may have exerted pressure on part of the screen mech, causing it to separate from the ribbon possibly?
A couple of N95-owning friends of mine have had similar problems. The screen broke. The TV-Out still worked, the sound and call functionality still worked... it was just the screen.
The faceplate is exactly the same as the one that comes with it but just in a different colour. I'm pretty meticulous in my 'phone surgery' and I've fucked phones before (I once bricked three N73s in as many weeks) - I can put my hand on my heard and genuinely say that this problem (IMO) had nothing to do with me...
But hey! It's all good! I got a replacement!
Saying that... where did I put it again?!
:P
DO NOT get an iphone!
I'm waiting to see if someone's going to *give* me an 8GB N95. I can't justify upgrading and/or getting a new one. So fingers crossed someone will just throw one my way...
